Portable Appliance Testing/Electrical Equipment Testing

To ensure all participants are fully ready to undertake PAT testing, we’ll deliver training on not only the practical side of testing, but also the health & safety requirements and relevant regulations. This comprehensive approach means those who complete and pass this course know the importance of doing the testing properly and to a high standard.
The full course programme will cover the following topics in detail:
- Principles of electricity
- Classification of appliances
- Electrical dangers
- Legal requirements
- IET Code of Practice 5th Edition
- Recording results
- Learning experience with PAT testing equipment
- Health and safety regulations pertaining to PAT testing
The course involves training along with a full practical exercise and assessment of the learners in using a PAT machine. The trainer will test participants with mock questions as a precursor to the final exam.
The training covers all the aspects of testing to make sure the trainee not only applies the learning but also confirms the principles. Our highly experienced and qualified trainer will deliver the requirements, and successful participants will receive a PASS UK certified certificate of competence.

This course is delivered:
Face-to-face with a maximum of 10 participants – price per person is £200
*In addition to the cost of the course, organisations will be charged for the trainer’s travelling expenses, which are calculated at 45p per mile.
