Food Safety in Catering
This is an excellent introduction to food safety in catering and will benefit all employees at all levels. It’s aimed particularly at those who hold, or are about to hold, a food safety role, such as a safety representative, within their catering organisation. The course will clarify aspects of food safety which many people consider to be complex or daunting.
The course includes:
- How individuals can take responsibility for food safety
- The importance of keeping themselves clean and hygienic
- The importance of keeping work areas clean and hygienic
- The importance of keeping food safe
- The principles of HACCP
Certification
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor, culminating in a multiple choice question paper.

This course is delivered:
Face-to-face with a maximum of 16 participants – £540.
*In addition to the cost of the course, organisations will be charged for the trainer’s travelling expenses, which are calculated at 45p per mile.
