Fire Emergency and Evacuation Marshall (Fire Warden)
This course is designed for employees who wish to take a more active role in their organisation’s fire safety, from creating policies and procedures to implementing them at the level of fire warden. Successful candidates will be awarded a National Level 5 qualification (SCQF). There is no prerequisite for this course.
The course includes:
- The hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace
- How fire risk is controlled in the workplace
- The role of the nominated fire warden (FEEM)
- The principles and practice of fire safety management at work
- Conducting a fire risk assessment
Certification
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor. There is a multiple choice assessment paper at the end of the course.

This course is delivered:
Face-to-face with a maximum of 12 participants – £540.
*In addition to the cost of the course, organisations will be charged for the trainer’s travelling expenses, which are calculated at 45p per mile.
