The course is designed to ensure the participants are safe, prompt and effective in an emergency situation. Our experienced trainer will guide you through these topics.

• Understand the role and responsibilities of a first-aider
• Be able to assess an incident
• Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
• Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
• Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
• Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock
• Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
• The safe use of an automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Participants will leave this course with a greater understanding of first aid procedures in the workplace and gain confidence when it comes to dealing with a casualty.

This course is delivered:

Face-to-face with a maximum of 12 participants – £540.

*In addition to the cost of the course, organisations will be charged for the trainer’s travelling expenses, which are calculated at 45p per mile.
